How do I switch my childs Molina healthcare insurance from her fathers name to my name?
My childs father is now on permanent disability. My child has been covered under Molina healthcare for several years now under her fathers name, only because she is with him almost 50% of the time and because I do not have health insurance; cannot afford it. The problem is, he hangs this over my head and threatens that he is going to cancel it whenever we have disagreements etc. Can't I apply for the same insurance for my child and have it listed under my name? I make only $13.50 an hour. I typically run out of money before each payday. Single mom. If I buy family health insurance thru my employer it would cost me $$250 a month and then it is not very good insur. My child is ill; she must have $800-$1000 month just in RX's. We are in OHIO.
