Why were conservatives so insulted by my question?
All I did was point out that a lot of conservatives have been wrongly accusing Sandra Fluke of asking tax payer money to pay for birth control for women. The truth is she never said that, that was a lie, spread by various conservative talking heads (such as Limbaugh) as well as lots of conservative bloggers.
Regardless of who Fluke is or what her motives are, she does have a point: why shouldn't PRIVATE health care plans cover drugs that are used for medical conditions? What right does Georgetown have to refuse birth control pills on moral/religious grounds, when birth control pills often are used to treat medical conditions, such as ovarian cysts? Is it immoral to treat ovarian cysts, PMS, heavy periods (that might cause iron deficiency), menstrual pains, polycystic ovarian syndrome, acne etc.
When I posted this question on here, asking why conservatives keep on spreading this misinformation, I received a lot of anger and eventually had my post deleted. Why is this so inflammatory to you? Why is it so upsetting that a woman thinks her PRIVATE health insurance plan should cover a certain type of medical drug? It's about as upsetting as asking for heart medication or antibiotics to be covered. At least to me?
I repeat, it wouldn't cost Georgetown ANYTHING extra to include this. The private health insurance companies WANT birth control to be included, because it's cheaper for them than having to cover a pregnancy later on. And this isn't a moral issue, because birth control pills aren't ONLY used to prevent pregnancy.
So please explain why this is making conservatives so angry?
I see even now you keep on lying and repeating that she did ask for the 'government' to pay for her birth control pills.
You people are hopeless!

how is it possible for health insurance companies to make money?
My deductible is high $3500 and premium around $100 a month. It covers everything 100% after the deductible. If I want to get a check up with a CT scan that'd be over $5000. Will the insurance company really pay that much? I don't see how they can make money with a hospital visit sometimes can cost over 5k.

Friend got in a car accident, possibly no records of it happening and I need a chiropractor.?
So my ex-friend got in an accident with his car during last summer and while it initially hurt a lot, it eventually went a way, but not for long as I'm now starting to get back and neck pains. The friend called a 3rd party to tow the car, but they couldn't get it out, so the government towers(not sure what to call them) moved the car. I've been thinking that those towers may have records and it may be the only way to prove the accident to my health insurance company so I can get to a chiropractor. I'm just looking for some advice or help in this situation.
