How to get lower home owner insurance quotes?
I keep getting quotes that are a little out of our range. What can lower the insurance? Like when they ask you all those questions, such as owning a dog, or owning guns. Does a yes or no make it higher or lower?

Is this going to turn out to be predatory lending?
Im in the process of getting a loan with my bank. I gave them all info, monthly income, down payment in the bank (which is my bank), and my home owners insurance quote. From the beginning even before I filled out the prequal the woman said I was approved....later while I was filling out the preapproval paper she said I was approved, as I waited a week to hear back from the underwriter and heard back again I was approved. Now I have been waiting a week just to hear if the appraisal has been set up. Finally I called and found out that it had been set up but not determined when the company would go out to the house. I now get a welcome email stating I now have someone else to handle my loan in the office another woman and she wants my down payment proof, my proof of income,and my insurance quote....................I HAVE ALREADY GIVEN ALL THAT!!!!!!!
HOW CAN THEY SEND AN APPRAISER OUT THERE IF THEY "DONT HAVE THAT INFO" AND STILL HAVE APPROVED ME TO GET AN APPRAISAL OUT THERE.
I dont get it and its pissing me off. Im this close to being done with it all. What should I do? what do you think?
P.S. at the end of the letter it said after the appraisal we will talk about your fees. ( I had already been told it would be $3900 by the other woman. So what is there to talk about. Also I had already payed the 350 dollar fee just to do this loan process.
How do I know that their appraisal isnt for their benefit? I couldnt pic my own they had to use theirs. Mine would have been out there quick not in a week just to hear they were going to go out there, how do I know hes not going to low ball it so they get more money down. ex: If im buying the home for 100k and he says its worth 95k I will have to pay the difference to get the house. I would not agree to that by the way and back out of the whole deal.
To common senses answer: I know I have a choice thats why I said I would back out of the deal or did you just not read and answer. Predatory lending can be before closing too. If they put me through this process and charge me, tell me im approved and then back out of the deal thats their fault and its predatory put me though all this just to make some loan process money.
p.s. predatory lending is illegal thats why cases are won by people every day against banks.
