How do I make sure I'm going to get my money back from this "agency"?
I filled out one of those online health insurance quote things and got a call from a girl with NBAA. She sold me insurance that was a PPO and supposedly would cover 70% of medical bills, turns out it was a discount plan that would only cover 30% so I called the place and cancelled and asked for my money back. They told me that I need to mail back the benefit packet once I received it, which I did, 8 days ago. I called them to ask what the status was of my refund and they're telling me they can't refund my money until they get that packet back and they haven't received it yet. I spoke with a "supervisor" today and she told me to call them "on Monday to see if we got it so I can give you your refund on Aug. 1st cause we only do refunds on the 1st and the 15th and we're so backed up we aren't doing refunds on the 15th this month" I sent them an email confirming the conversation the lady and I had but I'm worried I'm not gonna see my money again. Who can I complain to if they keep dragging their feet and giving me excuses? Thanks for your help.
