Help for purchasing Private Health Insurance?
I am self-employed and need to purchase Health Insurance. I've talked to sales people from Kaiser and some other companies-- but they all seem shady and they don't really seem to know what they're doing. Do you guys know of any insurance companies that you're happy with? Like good customer service-- happy with everything? Please let me know the names of the companies and a phone number I can call. Preferably in California... Thanks...

Conservatives! What are we going to do!?
We've had Fox News bash Obama 24/7 on the birth control issue for over a week but it doesn't appear to be working. "It's not even close: By a lopsided margin of 66 percent to 26 percent, Americans support President Barack Obama's proposal to require private health insurance plans to cover the full cost of birth control for women, according to a new CBS/New York Times public opinion poll." http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/public-backs-obama-birth-control-fight-poll-suggests-205113637.html I can't believe this! Why do so many Republican Congressmen use government subsidized health care plans?
It is optional, as they are free to buy health care through an insurance company instead of using the plan that the government provides them. Also, most Congressmen are wealthy, so they can easily afford private health insurance. Don't Republicans always talk about how much better private health insurance is over any type of government plan? It's yet another example right-wing hypocrisy from selfish, greedy Republicans that fail to practice what they preach to others.
